Tok stori Vikitolia Pasifiki is an expression of alofa | love and tautua | service from the Victorian Pacific community and Museums Victoria. We thank the esteemed elders and cultural leaders of the Victorian Pacific Cultural Leaders Advisory Group for their guidance.
The Pacific Region contains over 28 nations and over 2500 languages. Twelve Victorian Pacific communities helped to bring Tok stori Vikitolia Pasifiki to life. With guidance and permission from the Advisory Group and community elders, we have included words from across the Pacific, which is why you will see multiple ways of communicating the same idea. For example:
Pasifiki | Pasifika | Pasefika | Pacific
Vikitolia | Vikitoria | Victoria
measina | taonga | treasures
