AstroLight Festival is back for 2017!

Scienceworks joins forces with astronauts, astronomers, scientists, stargazers and artists to present a night starring astronomy and light.

Enjoy a special evening talks and performances for all ages, Planetarium and Lightning Room shows, plus an array of hands-on optics activities and stargazing (weather permitting).

This year special guest Dominic 'Tony' Antonelli, former NASA astronaut and pilot of two Space Shuttle missions, joins us for an evening of astronaut stories in partnership with The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Tony will speak on his experiences in space from 6:45- 7:15 on the main stage and from 9-10pm will participate in a panel discussion.

Also featuring at this year's AstroLight is a VR zone where you can go on a virtual reality tour of the universe with scientists from Ozgrav, or experience a story of human spaceflight with Opaque Media Group Space’s Earthlight.

Bar, café and food trucks serve up intergalactic treats all night.

Free parking available.

All tickets include general entry and entry to the LightTime exhibition. Planetarium and Lightning Room shows are additional surcharges $5 each.
