Soaring with STEM, flying with science! Little Kid's Day In invites kids ages 5 and under and their grown-ups to Scienceworks for a day of activities and fun that goes Up Up and Away.

Little Kid's Day In: Up Up and Away takes little learners above and beyond – exploring air-filled fun, floating and flying science, and the magic of the skies. Join us for a day of activities and workshops and stop in to see one of our Lightning Theatre or Planetarium shows.

Explore, test, and get your engineering skills into gear in this pop-up space for young engineers to build, create and play. With giant gears, kick bricks, wind tubes, pillow constructions and games, there’s plenty to do.

A reserved space for the littlest of little kids to enjoy some sensory exploration and play.

Embark on a journey into the wonder of playing with air with our dynamic parachute play sessions.

The Energy Lab transforms into our Tot Spot zone: a fun activity space with enough room to stretch your wings and fly! Bring your little ones to experience the thrill of lifting and lowering the parachute together. Sing along with your children as they laugh and learn while developing gross motor skills, crucial teamwork skills and sensory learning. Join us for an unforgettable session of fun and bonding!

Sessions begin every 15 minutes.

Tycho, our favourite cheeky dog with a knack for getting into trouble, is finally blasting off to discover the red planet, Mars!

Join Tycho on an adventure to learn all about the major features of Mars, including the ancient volcano Olympus Mons and the canyons of the Valles Marineris.

Tycho is in search of water to fly his steam-powered space kennel back home. But how will he find water on Mars, when it looks so cold, dusty and dry?
