Explore the sensational science of colour and light in this STEM-based playdate for ages 5 and under. 

Little kids are taking over Scienceworks! Ready Set Glow takes little learners through an exploration of colour, light and a little disco just for them. Join us for a day of activities and workshops and stop in to see one of our amazing Lightning Theatre or Planetarium shows.

Explore, test, and get your engineering skills into gear in this pop-up space for young engineers to build, create and play. With giant gears, kick bricks, wind tubes, pillow constructions and games, there’s plenty to do. 

Get ready to dance, party, and glow the day away in a very special blacklight disco!  

The Energy Lab transforms into our Tot Spot zone: a fun activity space glowing with excitement and music! Party, dress up, dance, and play in a blacklight disco made just for little kids. Get ready to clap along and move your body!    

Sensory Notice: Although this space is open throughout the day, the primary disco party will run approximately every 20 minutes.

n the Kinder Clubhouse the best learning happens when you play. Imagination, sensory, craft, movement, and open play is all learning in the Kinder Clubhouse.  

In this open play sensory space, there’ll be light and colour to explore. You’ll be able to play, relax on a beanbag, and experiment with light!

Prepare to be dazzled in this 20-minute show, which shines a light on what happens when colours are added and taken away.

Get your face painted with UV fluorescent paint and see how you glow! Once you have your new radiant look, see it light up in the Energy Lab’s Blacklight Disco.

Tycho, our favourite cheeky dog with a knack for getting into trouble, is finally blasting off to discover the red planet, Mars!

Join Tycho on an adventure to learn all about the major features of Mars, including the ancient volcano Olympus Mons and the canyons of the Valles Marineris.

Tycho is in search of water to fly his steam-powered space kennel back home. But how will he find water on Mars, when it looks so cold, dusty and dry?

Learn about night and day, space travel, the phases of the Moon and features of the lunar surface. Take a close-up look at the Sun, watch the effects of gravity, see the Earth from space and watch meteors shoot across the night sky.
