Do you love bugs and the world of creepy crawlies? Today we are very excited to share Museums Victoria’s bug expert Ken Walker with you! The Fact Detectives have teamed up with Ken to talk about all about bugs in these entertaining podcasts for kids.

In these podcasts you will learn interesting and amazing things about bugs from entomologist (a scientist who study insects) Ken Walker as he chats to The Fact Detectives about butterflies, moths, spiders, and bees.
Some of the questions discussed in these podcasts include:

  • What is the difference between a butterfly and moths?
  • Why do bees sting?
  • How many bees does it take to make a spoon of honey?
  • Why do spiders build webs?
  • Is there really a spider as big as a bird?!!!
