For one spectacular day only, Melbourne Museum transforms into a vibrant playground filled with animals, creativity and hands-on discovery.
Bursting with music, movement, storytelling and hands-on activities, celebrate play, wonder and the incredible diversity of life on our planet. Whether you're roaring like a tiger, fluttering like a butterfly or uncovering amazing wildlife from around the world, there's something unforgettable around every corner.
Created especially for kids and families, and open to everyone, this Children's Week celebration is not to be missed.

Join us for this special edition of Story Seekers and welcome author and illustrator, Jess McGeachin as he reads and discusses some of his favourite books.

Discover the extraordinary insects hiding in Australia's tropical rainforests. Create a wearable mask inspired by the lightning-fast Trap-jaw Ant or the Giant Rainforest Mantis, then learn how these fascinating creatures use speed, camouflage and powerful hunting skills to survive in one of the world's oldest rainforests.
The jungle is calling, and the party is about to begin! Grab some headphones, tune into one of three music channels and dance, sing and let loose to the beat. It’s a silent disco adventure where every little explorer can find their groove!
