Italian Language Guided Tours – ROME: Empire, Power, People
Explore Rome: Empire, Power, People in Italian with this very special guided tour.
This language tour of ROME: Empire, Power, People has been designed by the expert education team at CO.AS.IT. specifically for Italian language students from primary and secondary schools.
Tour Guides will provide students with an authentic language experience, using a visit to the Rome: Empire, Power, People exhibition to engage students in the Italian Language.
From simple words to phrases, guides will adapt the tour to meet the language needs and level of your class. Tours are available for Italian Language classes from Year 3 through to VCE level!
Rome: Empire, Power, People is a new exhibition celebrating the rich history, culture and enduring legacy of Rome and Italy.
Students will experience
- Immersion into the Italian language.
- Authentic Italian language experiences with experts from CO.AS.IT
- Spectacular ancient artefacts and objects from leading Italian museums.
- Immersive environments and reconstructions of the Roman Empire.
Students will learn
- About Italy, its language and culture.
- About the lives of everyday people in Rome during the Roman Empire.
Students will be provided
- Primary school students will receive a children’s activity booklet to complement their visit.
- Secondary school students will receive an education booklet to support their visit.
Other key information
- Language tours will be facilitated by CO.AS.IT. staff. Tours will be delivered in English, with a focus on learning and developing Italian language skills and proficiency.
