Ancient artefacts, immersive environments and an engaging children’s trail bring the Roman Empire life for primary schools.
With over 180 ancient artefacts direct from Italy, immersive environments and multimedia, Rome: Empire, Power, People is a not to be missed exhibition for history students of all ages.
From the fall of Julius Caesar to the power and ambition of an Empire, the exhibition showcases the luxury of Imperial Rome, the spectacle of the gladiator arena, the bustling marketplaces and the everyday experiences of Romans.
The exhibition, designed by Museums Victoria and developed in collaboration with Contemporanea Progetti and curators from Museo Nazionale Romano and Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Firenze, will draw on the extraordinary collections of two of Italy’s most prestigious museums for a never-before seen exhibition.
Primary students are invited to explore the exhibition with our exclusive children’s trail. Designed for young audiences, this special booklet will spark creativity and curiosity in your students.
