River animals

Here at the Museum, we love to go out and explore our local rivers and creeks.

This week, our First People’s Educator Di-Di Vaha’akolo shares some special drawings from our River of Language exhibition for you to colour in at home. These have been inspired by animals you may spot around rivers and creeks!

  1. Watch the video to learn more about animals you might find along the Murray River.
  2. We have three different animals for you to choose from. Ask a grown up to help you print out the animal colouring sheets from River of Language.
  3. Time to get creative! Grab your pencils and markers and let's get colouring.
  4. As always, we love to see what you create. When you're finished, share your coloured animals with us using #MuseumAtHome #MelbourneMuseum.
