Writers from the RMIT Creative Writing class recite poetry and stories inspired by the Immigration Museum’s collection and their own family histories.
Take a walk through the Museum’s exhibitions and listen to writers take inspiration from their own migration, settlement and refugee histories next to the objects from the Museum’s collection.
These are stories about discovery, confrontation with the past, gratitude, pain, privilege, grief, community and identity.
Curated by Thirangie Jayatilake.
Presented in collaboration with RMIT.
