PROGRAM
Hear ancient celestial love stories in a specially curated live 30-minute planetarium show. As you journey through the galaxy, you’ll gaze up at Melbourne’s night sky before flying off planet Earth and out among the stars. See spectacular views of amorous astronomical destinations and marvel at the beauty of the vast universe.
This stunning art/science installation showcases our breathtaking Moon – four metres in diameter and featuring realistic details of the lunar surface. Picnic underneath it and gaze up at its wonders in the Planetarium Foyer.
Get crafty with your loved ones this evening! Design your very own bracelet using a variety of colourful beads. Whether you’re making a gift for someone special or a treat for yourself, this is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time getting creative with your favourite people.
DJ Gay Roberto is a prolific and beloved fixture of Naarm clubbing. Regularly found working the city’s most coveted DJ booths and with a long history of playing interstate and abroad, Roberto brings more than a decade of experience to the tables and CDJs; from a teenaged Revolver Resident to a main stay at Gaytimes festival here in Naarm and Folsom festival in Berlin. A consummate professional and adaptive room reader, he is certain to bring musical magic this Valentine’s Day.
The vivacious Hayley Hoopla is a dynamic performer, Hula hoopist, Costumier, Dance choreographer, Circus arts teacher, Burlesque dancer & Innovator in her field. Hayley has performed with producer’s such as Spoonbill, Opiuo, Klab & Beats Antique, & is now a dancer in the Melbourne Burlesque Show “Shimmery Burlesque”. With her myriad of unique solo characters, Hayley is known for her kooky facial expressions and stage presence at large, often sporting an oversized boombox, wearing a pineapple on her head.
