A weekend of fun STEM for kids and adults alike awaits you at Scienceworks! 

Did you know science is a superpower? Join us at Scienceworks for an engaging weekend of activities, experiments, talks and fun.

Science is a Superpower is a video series produced by Museums Victoria to encourage tween girls and non-binary children to become involved in STEM. It explores the science behind 'superpowers' such as kindness, calmness, strength, curiosity and energy.

While the Science is a Superpower festival was created to appeal to tween girls and non-binary children, this festival welcomes all visitors.

PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE

Meditations | Planetarium 10:30, 12:00, 12:30, 2:00, 2:30

Harmonograph | Planetarium foyer 10:30 - 3:00

Find calmness in the Planetarium by attending a meditation session with beautiful wildlife imagery then make your own one-of-a-kind artwork with the Scienceworks harmonograph.

Sportsworks 10:30 - 3:00

Test your strength in Sportsworks by trying a host of physical challenges including racing, goalkeeping and high jumps. Collect your Strength Passport in the Sportsworks gallery and learn more about your strength.
