The Sportsworks exhibition at Scienceworks is curriculum-aligned to science as well as health and physical education for primary school students. Excursions to Sportsworks focus on exploring health and physical sciences through interactive hands-on exhibits focused on the human body and movement.

Students will experience

Hands-on challenges such as testing reaction time, balance, and strength through engaging measuring activities.
Interactive displays that explore how the body moves and functions during physical activity. This includes learning about the musculoskeletal system.
Testing physical skills through interactive challenges such as running against athlete Cathy Freeman, wheelchair racing, rock climbing, and balance exercises.
Discovering the science behind sports equipment, learning about materials and technologies that enhance athletic performance.
Exploring the exhibition at their own pace, in small groups with their supervisors
