Colour is a limited-time interactive experience where students dive into the science and magic behind colour, light, vision, and illusions.

Students will Experience

Four exciting themes: Coloured Light, Controlling Colour, Seeing Colour, and Making Sense of Colour
Playful experiments that uncover the secrets of how we see and understand colour in our world.

Students will learn

About properties of light including absorption, reflection, refraction, and diffraction
About Polarisation of light
How materials can be Luminescent- including incandescence and fluorescence
That light can be dispersed and represented on a spectrum
How colour vision works in animals and humans
About the cultural and symbolic significance of colours
How humans perceive colour including synaesthesia and colour Illusions
