Museums Victoria – Melbourne Planetarium 25th Anniversary Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The competition opens on Tuesday 20 August 2024 at 10:00AM AEST.
2. The competition ends on Tuesday 27 August 2024 at 11:59PM AEST.
3. The competition is only open to current Museum Members.
4. Entry is not open to Museums Victoria employees, contractors or volunteers, or people in their immediate families.
5. Multiple entries per participant will not be accepted.
6. To be eligible to win the prize, each participant must complete the competition entry form during the competition period.
7. There will be one (1) prize draw. The prize consists of one (1) family pass (four (4) tickets) to a Planetarium session at Scienceworks. The tickets are valid for Planetarium sessions between 29 August 2024 – 31 April 2025, which must be pre-booked with the Museums Victoria Bookings team. The prize excludes Planetarium Nights and special events. The tickets are subject to conditions of entry and session availability. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
8. There will be four (4) prize winners.
9. The competition draw will be conducted on Thursday 29 August 2024 and the winner notified thereafter.
10. The winners of the prize will be drawn randomly from the valid entries.
11. The winners will be notified via email of their prize at the email address provided with their competition entry.
12. Winners will be published on https://museumsvictoria.com.au/scienceworks/competitions/melbourne-planetarium-25th-anniversary-competition/melbourne-planetarium-25th-anniversary-competition-winners/ and notified via email address provided with the membership on 29 August 2024..
13. If Museums Victoria, after using all reasonable efforts, cannot contact a winner within 28 days of the prize draw, then the winner will be substituted via a second draw from the remaining valid entries.
14. Each participant must provide their first name, last name and email address. This information will only be used to conduct the prize draw and notify and publish the winners.Museums Victoria will retain records relating to the competition for a period of three (3) years after the finalisation of the competition.
15. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Museums Victoria’s reasonable control, Museums Victoria reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize.
16. Museums Victoria will not disclose any personal information provided by participants to any third party, except as provided for under these terms and conditions, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
