Designed in collaboration with Museums Victoria, The Walt Disney Company Australia & New Zealand and Lucasfilm, Melbourne Museum invites visitors aboard a Corellian Star Cruiser for an extraordinary dining experience among one of the world's most beloved galaxies.
This one-of-kind pop-up cafe transports fans of all ages on a culinary journey to a galaxy far, far away, with dishes inspired by elements of the epic Star Wars saga.

The Star Wars Galactic Cafe is open exclusively at Melbourne Museum. Museum Member discounts are available at the Star Wars Galactic Cafe from Monday to Thursday in August and part of September 2025. View the full terms and conditions below. Museum members can also enjoy a 10% discount at Melbourne Museum's permanent cafes and Mercury Restaurant year-round.

Reservations for the Star Wars™ Galactic Cafe are encouraged and reservations can be made here with limited walk-ins currently available. During weekends, school holidays and peak periods, the cafe may reach capacity and wait times may be required to dine.
Due to the cafe’s size, online bookings are limited to a maximum of 8 people.
Museums Victoria is home to a range of dining options that can accommodate larger groups.

The Star Wars Galactic Cafe is open daily, from 10:30am to 3:30pm, with the last bookings available from 3pm.
Entry to the Star Wars Galactic Cafe does not require a Melbourne Museum or Lego® Star Wars™: The Exhibition entry ticket and can be accessed via the escalators to the right of the main entrance.
Guests and fans are welcome to attend the Star Wars™ Galactic Cafe in costume.
Future fan character appearances at the Star Wars Galactic Cafe will be publicised on the Melbourne Museum website and its social media channels.
The Star Wars™ Galactic Cafe menu can be viewed on this cafe webpage. A selection of additional non-themed beverages and snacks are available to purchase at the cafe, via the QR codes on the tables.
The menu features selected vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and halal dishes available for patrons.
The Star Wars Galactic Cafe does not allow changes to menu items, including removing, substituting, or altering ingredients.
