Kiki and Zuki brings a beautiful blend of shadow puppetry, performance and storytelling to kids and families.
Kiki, a dreamer from the Moon, and Zuki, a curious Earthling, embark on a journey of friendship, understanding, connection and resilience.
Kiki and Zuki was inspired by the artists’ personal migrant experience of navigating two cultures in Australia. As artists, they have always been fascinated by the challenges understanding new cultures while staying true to their own. Shadow puppetry allows them to explore these themes in a visually and emotionally captivating way.
Book in to view a performance by artists Taka Takiguchi and Youbi Lee, or a workshop to make a shadow puppet with the artists.
This event is best suited to children aged 6 to 12.
Workshops are for children only. Adults can attend the Puppet Show with a ticket (spaces are limited). Children over 6 can attend unaccompanied.
Please note: This ticket is an add-on. Please purchase Museum Entry for all children and guardians attending this event.
