Saturdays from 11 April to 24 October
Join CO.AS.IT. for a special guided tour in Italian to deepen your experience of ROME: Empire, Power, People, a leading Ancient Rome exhibition in Melbourne.
Get up close to the original statues, mosaics, frescoes, jewellery and everyday objects from the humblest to the most sumptuous, in this Melbourne-exclusive exhibition. Feel the majesty and wonder of objects displayed in a chronological retelling of life in Ancient Rome.
The splendour, drama and humanity of Rome is brought to life in detail with scenography and multimedia, giving visitors an immersive experience and vivid portrait of a civilisation that continues to shape our world today.
Tour guests are welcome to stay on in the exhibition to explore at their leisure, at the conclusion of the tour. Entry to Melbourne Museum is also included.
On the first Saturday of every month, these tours will be followed by an Italian Conversation Club (see below).
