Presented as part of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival, this three-part Fashion Talks Series explores the integral role STEM plays in transforming the garments we wear and the stories they tell, encouraging you to move beyond traditional ways of viewing the fashion industry.
When you picture a career in fashion, what comes to mind? Beyond designers, the industry is powered by a vast network of thinkers, makers and educators who each bring creativity, innovation and technical expertise to their field.
Supported by Holmesglen Institute, this talk invites you to meet the professionals driving Melbourne's fashion landscape and discover the hidden careers that make it all possible. From fashion lecturers to expert pattern creators, learn about the roles you may not have known existed and the skills you need to get there.
The session will conclude with a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to explore where your interests could lead within the world of fashion.
Ticket inclusion: Your Fashion Talks ticket also includes free access to Melbourne Museum to explore at your leisure before or after the event.
