State Fossil Emblem vote at Museums Victoria
General voting conditions
- Voting opens on Wednesday August 11 2021 at 10am AEST.
- Voting closes on Monday October 4 2021 at 5pm AEST.
- The entry requirements for the State Fossil Emblem vote are as follows:
a. Completed voting form on the State Fossil Emblem webpage;
b. Supply of residential postcode (any votes with postcodes outside of Victoria will not be counted);
c. Provision of a unique email address (only 1 vote per person will be counted);
d. If the voter is a minor, permission from an adult to enter is required, and voter will need to check a box indicating this is true.
Competition prize draw terms
- In order to enter the State Fossil Emblem prize draw you must vote in the State Fossil Emblem campaign on the Museums Victoria website between Wednesday August 11 2021 and Monday October 4 2021;
- Participants’ name and email address will be used by Museums Victoria to conduct the prize draw.
- One winner will be drawn randomly from the eligible entrants and will win a personalised back of house tour with a Museums Victoria Palaeontology expert.
- The winners of prizes will be advised via email of their prize at the email address provided with their prize draw within 28 days after the Fossil Emblem voting campaign has completed.
- Prize winners will be notified by email, and names of prize winners will also be published publicly on the Museums Victoria website within 28 days after the Fossil Emblem voting campaign has completed.
- Museums Victoria will not disclose any personal information provided by competition entrants to any third party, except as provided for under these terms and conditions or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
- If the requested information (including name and email address) is not valid or if all or part of the information is not provided the entry will be considered invalid and will not be entered into the prize draw.
- Entry is open to all Australian residents except Museums Victoria employees, contractors or volunteers.
- If Melbourne Museum is prevented from opening or is otherwise not open for any period during the competition period (i.e. between the opening date for entries and the closing date for entries) then Museums Victoria may at its sole discretion extend the closing date for entries and the dates for conducting the prize draw and notifying the winner. If Museums Victoria does extend the dates pursuant to this clause, the prize draw terms will be updated and published online and existing entrants will be notified by email.
