VCE VET

VCE VET programs allow students to include Vocational Education and Training (VET) as part of their Senior Secondary Certificate. As well as up-to-the-minute industry technical competence, students develop a range of employability skills, such as communication, teamwork, problem solving, using technology, planning and initiative.

Top Designs features products designed and produced by students to meet the requirements of scored assessment within their VCE VET program. The programs eligible for Top Designs are VCE VET Creative and Digital Media, Engineering Studies, Furnishing, Integrated Technologies and Music (Sound Production).

VET in VCE and VCAL

VCE VET programs allows students to include Vocational Education and Training (VET) as part of their senior secondary certificate. Students have the opportunity to undertake nationally recognised training, which contributes towards a VCE or Vocational Major (VM).

In 2020, Top Designs expanded its inclusion of VCE VET subjects, welcoming applications from Creative and Digital Media, Furnishing, Integrated Technologies, Music (Sound Production) and Engineering Studies.

If you are undertaking scored assessment in an eligible VET program, you can apply for Top Designs 2025. Watch the video below on how to apply and register your interest for top designs here to receive updates from the Season of Excellence once applications have opened.
