Museums Victoria LEGO Star Wars Competition – Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition will be run during the following period (“Competition Period”):
    1. The competition opens: 20 May 2025 at 12:00AM AEST.
    2. The competition closes: 31 July 2025 at 11:59PM AEST.
  2. The competition is open to anyone who has purchased, activated or renewed a Museum Membership (including gift membership) during the Competition Period.
  3. Entry is not open to Museums Victoria employees, contractors or volunteers, or people in their immediate families.
  4. Multiple entries per participant will not be accepted.
  5. To be eligible to win a prize, during the Competition Period, each participant must either:
    1. Purchase and activate a Museum Membership;
    2. Renew their Museum Membership; or
    3. Purchase a Gift Museum Membership.
  6. There will be one (1) prize draw.
    1. The 1st Prize consists of – one (1) children’s birthday party package at Melbourne Museum for 20 children and 20 adults – valued at over $2000! The prize includes access to LEGO® Star Wars: The Exhibition. Redemption is subject to availability and must be redeemed by 1 December 2025.
    2. The 2nd Prize consists of – one (1) Millennium Falcon Package for two — the ultimate LEGO® Star Wars fan experience, valued at over $500! Enjoy an exclusive exhibition walkthrough and a Behind the Brick presentation with Brickman. This prize is only valid and must be used for the event held on Friday 22 August and Saturday 23 August.
    3. The 3rd Prize consists of – one (1) of three (3) Museums Victoria Household Gift Memberships valued at $99.
  7. There will be 5 prize winners. A prize can only be redeemed once per participant.
  8. The prizes are not transferable, nor can they be redeemed for cash.
  9. The competition draw will be conducted on 1 August 2025 and the winners notified thereafter.
  10. The winners of the prizes will be drawn randomly from the valid entries.
  11. The winners will be notified via email of their prize at the email address provided with their competition entry.
  12. The winners’ names will be published on Museums Victoria’s website on 1 August 2025.
  13. If Museums Victoria, after using all reasonable efforts, cannot contact a winner within seven (7) days of the prize draw, then the winner will be substituted via a second draw from the remaining valid entries.
  14. Each participant must provide their first name, last name and email address. This information will only be used to conduct the prize draw and notify and publish the winners. Museums Victoria will retain records relating to the competition for a period of three (3) years after the finalisation of the competition.
  15. Museums Victoria is not liable for any late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
  16. Museums Victoria reserves the right to verify the identity of the winners to confirm they are the winner.
  17. Museums Victoria reserves the right to disqualify entries at its sole, reasonable discretion.
  18. Decisions of Museums Victoria regarding the winning of prizes are final and binding.
  19. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Museums Victoria’s reasonable control, Museums Victoria reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize.
  20. Museums Victoria will not disclose any personal information provided by participants to any third party, except as provided for under these terms and conditions, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
