Accessibility information
The lower promenade is wheelchair accessible via a lift. The fourth level, the upper dome promenade, is not wheelchair accessible and requires participants to climb around 20 steps.
From there, there are additional stairs required to travel around the entire upper promenade to see a 360 degree view. Both the upper and lower promenade are outside and exposed to the elements.
Parking and getting here
Located next to Royal Exhibition Building and beneath Melbourne Museum, the car park is open from 5:30am to midnight seven days a week. Enter via Rathdowne or Nicholson Street. Parking can be pre-booked prior to your event.
The Royal Exhibition Building is located a short walk from the CBD, with trams, trains and buses stopping close by.
