The Melbourne Story is an immersive display of some of the most fascinating elements of what makes Melbourne marvellous, from a Luna Park relic to an AC/DC costume and, of course, our most beloved Phar Lap. What a talking point for a corporate dinner or cocktail party!
Located on the upper level, you can enjoy fantastic views from the walkway entrance to the Melbourne Gallery. Through the soaring Main Foyer look over to the Royal Exhibition Building, or feel like you’re standing among the treetops of our Forest Gallery.
At 372 square metres, this space can accommodate a range of occasions, from seated dinners to pre-event viewings, before you enjoy a separate museum function space.
