Treasures of the Natural World gathers together a collection of fascinating and rare treasures from the Natural History Museum, London.
It features hundreds of objects from around the world, including Charles Darwin’s pet juvenile giant tortoise, exquisite coral specimens collected on the HMS Challenger expedition, a selection of the 83,200 beetles collected by Alfred Russel Wallace in southeast Asia, and all manner of marvellous fossils.
Stunning full-colour photographs of these treasures are accompanied by stories of meaning and resonance from diverse peoples around the world, connecting us with landscape, fostering curiosity and inspiring a deep appreciation for the world around us.
