This one day, intensive for Design & Technologies teachers in Greater Shepparton and surrounding areas will help educators improve design education in their schools.
Melbourne Museum have been delivering the Creative Futures Annual Design Workshop in Melbourne for the past four years, and we are now delighted to take it on the road!
The day will focus on Middle Years programs, and facilitators will work with participants to develop new approaches to years 7 & 8 which will engage them in their first years of secondary school and encourage them to follow the subject through year 9 & 10 and onto VCE.
Supported by Creative Futures Ltd and hosted by Greater Shepparton Secondary College, this special curriculum aligned workshop is free for teachers and jointly facilitated by Museums Victoria Education and DATTA Vic.
Program covers
- Helping educators improve design education in their schools
- Developing new approaches to years 7 & 8 which will engage them in their first years of secondary school Design and encourage them to follow the subject through year 9 & 10 and onto VCE

- Design Sprint tools
- With a useful Design Thinking tool for engagement in the classroom
