Victoria the T. rex is a world-class, interactive exhibition starring the real fossil skeleton of a 66-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus named Victoria.

Students will experience

Exclusively to Melbourne Museum, the Home of Dinosaurs, Victoria the T. rex is a state-of-the-art exhibition featuring real fossils, film, Augmented Reality (AR), and holography.

This is an incredibly unique experience for your dinosaur loving students to see a REAL T. rex – not to be missed!

Students will learn

Students will learn about adaptations and survival including how a T. rex may have experienced smell and sight through multisensory installations that offer a glimpse into Victoria’s world.

Students will be provided

All students will be provided with a dinosaur booklet, which can be used onsite at Melbourne Museum or back at school. The booklet connects to curriculum and learning in the Dinosaur Walk, Triceratops: Fate of the Dinosaurs and Victoria the T. rex exhibitions.
