Singer and storyteller
Wadawurrung
Barry Gilson is a singer, poet and actor who specialises in bringing back the ancient words and language of his people, the Wadawurrung. His work is about reinstating a lost culture that has survived genocide and colonisation. Barry believes the past is the greatest strength he has, because without it there is no future.
