Melbourne, Australia (February 21, 2025) – Tickets are officially on sale for LEGO® Star WarsTM: The Exhibition. The world’s first-ever LEGO® Star Wars exhibition is opening at Melbourne Museum on Star Wars Day, May 4, 2025, giving fans a unique opportunity to explore iconic Star Wars characters, starships and scenes recreated in stunning detail using millions of LEGO bricks.
Created by Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught, one of the world’s leading LEGO brick artists and the only LEGO Certified Professional in the southern hemisphere, LEGO® Star Wars: The Exhibition features the largest collection of life-sized LEGO Star Wars models ever created.
More than 8 million LEGO bricks were used in the creation of this exhibition, which took over 25,000 hours of building, all meticulously created at Brickman HQ in Melbourne. Visitors will come face-to-face with breathtaking full-scale models spanning both classic and modern Star Wars moments.
More than a traditional exhibition, this experience invites fans to step into an immersive journey through the Star Wars galaxy. Visitors are invited to help build massive LEGO Star Wars landscapes brick by brick, take part in hands-on build activities, and see their LEGO Star Wars builds digitally come to life as they choose their Force allegiance and face-off against their friends. From building starfighters to creating custom lightsabers out of LEGO bricks, interactive elements offer a unique and engaging experience for fans of all ages.
Amidst the exhibition's numerous life-sized character builds, visitors can get up close to LEGO Star Wars models of iconic droids. The exhibition’s Droid Hall of Fame features fan-favourite C-3PO, meticulously crafted with ‘Pearl Gold’ LEGO bricks - a unique colour, made specifically for the exhibition.
