Experience Phoebe Bridgers’ new album at Melbourne Planetarium before its release
Happening at over 40 planetariums across the globe, join an exclusive first listen of Lost Weekend with stunning dome visuals, 24 hours before its international release
Ahead of its worldwide release on Friday 14 August via Dead Oceans, Phoebe Bridgers’ newest album Lost Weekend will debut in full at the Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks, one of only two venues to host a first listen in Australia.
Three exclusive sessions will take place on Thursday 13 August at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.
Presented beneath the Melbourne Planetarium dome, experience Lost Weekend in a breathtaking audiovisual journey that travels from the star-filled skies of Madagascar and the shimmering Northern Lights above Iceland's glaciers, to the powerful storms across Texas. Captured by acclaimed photographer and National Geographic night sky explorer Babak Tafreshi the visual experience culminates from two decades spent documenting extraordinary nocturnal scenes around the globe.
Filmed in nearly 20 countries, with no computer-generated imagery, this show brings audiences closer to the natural world through stunning nightscapes that blend music, science, art, and a sense of discovery. The experience invites audiences to reflect on our connection to the universe while celebrating the beauty of dark skies.

The event will be phone and camera free. The approximate run time of the show will be one hour.
