Terms and conditions

1. Museum Teachers cards provide free individual general entry to Melbourne Museum, Scienceworks and Immigration Museum¹. General admission entry does not permit entry into special exhibitions or any other program or event; such events are ticketed separately unless clearly stated.
2. Museum Teachers is a free online subscription service; you must agree to receive emails and stay subscribed for your subscription to remain valid.
3. This card is not transferable, and you must produce photo identification to use your card. Failure to do so could result in the payment of full admission.
4. Your Museum Teachers card and subscription do not provide access to the Museum Members priority queue at our venues or discounted Museum Members parking rates. Museum Teachers use the general admission queue and pay the standard public parking rates.
5. Subscription benefits are only available on the presentation of your Museum Teachers card and current photo identification; you must show your Museum Teachers card and photo identification at the venue ticketing counter to receive a free general entry ticket or Museum Teachers discounts. Subscription benefits are not valid with any other offer.
6. Discount for IMAX Melbourne tickets apply to education documentaries only. Discount is not valid on Public Holidays or for documentaries on ‘No Free Ticket’ list. Subscribers can book concession pricing when booking online or in person by presenting their Museum Teachers card and photo identification on arrival. Seats are subject to availability.
7. Museum Teachers receive a 20% discount on Melbourne Planetarium and Lightning Room shows at Scienceworks. Museum Teachers will be asked to present their Museum Teachers' card and photo identification on arrival. Seats are subject to availability. This discount can be used multiple times but is only valid for the Museum Teacher card holder.
8. 10% discount in Museums Victoria shop (online and in-store)².

10. Your Museum Teachers card and subscription does not provide access to the Museum Members priority queue at our venues, or discounted Museum Members parking rates. Museum Teachers use the general admission queue and pay the standard public parking rates.
11. Museum Teacher cards cannot be used for free general entry for educators attending the museums with their students. All home school, early childhood service, school and tertiary groups require an education booking for entry. A small education service fee applies to all education bookings.
12. Museums Victoria may terminate your subscription if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions, abuse any privilege afforded to you under the education subscription program, or misuse your Museum Teachers card.
13. Museums Victoria may change these terms and conditions or subscription benefits at any time without notice.

¹ General entry excludes touring exhibitions, IMAX Melbourne, Royal Exhibition Building events, Melbourne Planetarium and Lightning Room.
