Designed as an inner-city sanctuary, it will foster curiosity and wellbeing, while also providing opportunities for rest and reflection for parents, carers, and guardians.
The Playspace will encourage meaningful intergenerational experiences and reflects Museums Victoria’s commitment to creating enriching environments that support learning, discovery and belonging.
Made possible through the generosity and vision of Andrew and Geraldine Buxton and their family, this landmark project will help create a new destination for play, learning and connection in the heart of Melbourne.
Opening in 2027.
