Music (Sound Production)

VCE VET Music (Sound Production) students work with a range of contemporary industry technologies.

They learn to reinforce sound in live performance and collaborate with clients to record, edit, mix and enhance sound in a recording studio context. Students also complete industry-specific units focused on the application of effective work practices, health and safety, and copyright. The works in this exhibition represent excellent examples of students’ sound production.

Re-Imagination

ProTools Studio

In 2025, I created Re-Imagination using new skills and knowledge gained since Imagination. It is a reworked original piece from 2024 called Imagination, designed to create a surreal auditory experience and expand on the original rather than replace it. Re-Imagination generates a new sound and evokes a sense of longing, allowing listeners to drift between their imagination and reality, thus creating a new world in their minds.
