The Museums Victoria Learning Access Fund aims to enhance access to our museums (Immigration Museum, Melbourne Museum and Scienceworks), programs and events for organisations and schools in the following ways:
The Museums Victoria Learning Access Fund for schools provides enriching educational experiences to students through free access to specific museum programs.
The fund is designed to support eligible schools that have not visited Museums Victoria (Immigration Museum, Melbourne Museum and Scienceworks) in the past two years and have a high number of students with social disadvantage based on the Student Family Occupation Education (SFOE) index or Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA).
Museums Victoria learning access fund applications for 2025 is now closed. Please check back after 1 Dec to express your interest for 2026 requests.
Applications are equitably evaluated based on the following considerations:

We require 3 weeks notice to accommodate bookings. Bookings are subject to availability, and our friendly bookings team will respond to your enquiry with a confirmation email or alternative option if available.

The Museums Victoria Learning Access Fund for community groups supports new migrant communities and language groups or other community groups who may be experiencing barriers to visiting our museums with free general entry. Our museums include Immigration Museum, Melbourne Museum and Scienceworks.
To apply, submit this Microsoft Form to request a general entry for your community group.
