In February 2023 Nicholas Crotty was in the Scienceworks collection store looking at broadcast receivers in the longspan racking. At the back of the bottom shelf, he saw a thin, dirty, off-white piece of cardboard. The cardboard was about the size of a playing card, blank on one side and with a distinct hemispherical curve. At the centre of the curve, in crisp black print, were the confronting words:
“SILVER-DEATH”
