Abstract

In developing the major new exhibition Our Wondrous Planet at Melbourne Museum, the team brought together three guiding elements to shape its content and approach: First Peoples’ cultural knowledge and values, contemporary natural science, and visitor motivations and perspectives. The resulting exhibition invites wonder and aims to deepen appreciation of the natural world, leaving visitors energised and inspired to care for the living world to which we belong.
