On the distribution of the water mite family Limnocharidae Grube in Australia (Acari: Hydrachnidia)

Abstract
New records are given from Australia of two species of the water mite family Limnocharidae, i.e. Limnochares
australica and Austrolimnochares womersleyi. The former species is widespread, and occurrs in almost every state and territory. The latter species is confined to the east and southeast of Australia.
