Abstract
Six species of Pycnogonida belonging to five genera were collected by CSIRO research vessel RV Investigator expeditions to the Australian Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands territories to the north-west of the Australian mainland. The small collection consists of four species new to science, one known deep-water species and one subadult form that remains unidentified. Specimens were gathered from the seafloor using sleds and nets at depths ranging from 328 m to 2435 m.
