Let's make slime
Icky yucky sticky disgusting slime! Learn how to use household items to make your own cornflour slime.
Difficulty: Medium
Instructions
- Add two cups of cornflour to a bowl
- Slowly add a cup of water to a bowl
- Get stirring!
- Add a couple of drops of food dye
- Get stirring!
Cornflour slime doesn’t act like a normal fluid. Stir it slowly then stir it quickly- is there a difference? What if you punch it? Do you think water would respond in the same way?”
Slime is stir-thickening fluid. This means the harder your stir it, the thicker it gets. Can you think of any others?
