Weaving Magic: The Orbweavers Live!
Marita Dyson and Stuart Flanagan
Local musicians, The Orbweavers, perform songs connected to the Museum’s collections, followed by a Q & A.
Local band The Orbweavers (Marita Dyson and Stuart Flanagan) have charmed audiences around the country with evocative songs of places we know – Melbourne’s creeks and quarries, textile mills and industrial landmarks. Their dulcet melodies, chiming guitar, violin and trumpet meld to hypnotic effect, recalling the ghosts of places past. In this special event, Marita and Stuart will perform songs connected to the Museum’s collections, followed by a Q & A. "An hour spent with The Orbweavers is a thoughtful conversation about spirit, adventure, home and history, not to mention the great music." (The Music)
