As Collection Manager in the Geosciences Section, I am responsible for managing and preserving Victoria’s State Collections of Minerals, Gemstones, Rocks, Ores, Meteorites, and Tektites.
I maintain and improve the digital collection database and facilitate access of the collections for the purposes of research, education, and exhibition.
My professional interests lie in public education in geosciences, particularly through underutilised parts of the collections.
I also have a research interest in metamorphic petrology, and the application of phase equilibrium modelling to understanding metamorphic processes.
