Brian and Genevieve's Wedding
Real Weddings with Museums Victoria Venue & Events
Bride & Groom: Genevieve & Brian
Wedding date: 21.01.2017
We met.... At Yamaha Music Australia, both musicians and were product managers at the time.
My something old.... We had our parents wedding photos set up at the entrance and other old family shots of those in attendance.
My something borrowed.... Brian’s sister Michelle thought ahead and given Melbourne’s weather loaned Gen her beautiful white Louis Vuitton shawl in case it got a bit cold.
My something blue.... hmmmm forgot the something blue.
Our first dance.... Elvis – Can’t help falling in love with you.
Why did you choose the venue? Always loved the courtyard at Immigration Museum with the Tribute Garden water feature. We wanted an outdoor option that was central CBD.
Most memorable moment of the day? Making an entrance by walking down the stairs of Immigration museum to see all our family and friends waiting for us and greeting us along the way.
The icing on the cake? The perfect courtyard setting with Greek dancing and music playing all night. Melbourne put on a perfect day for us and all our guests just had the most wonderful time. The cake itself was so beautiful, it was made by our talented sister in law Mary.
