Victoria the T. rex is a world-class, interactive exhibition starring the real fossil skeleton of a 66-million-year-old Tyrannosaurus named Victoria.
Exclusively to Melbourne Museum, the Home of Dinosaurs, Victoria the T. rex is a state-of-the-art exhibition featuring real fossils, film, AR, and holography.
An incredibly unique experience transporting you back 66 million years to the Cretaceous period, Victoria is the biggest example of a real T. rex fossil to ever be shown in Australia.
The fossil of Victoria is comprised of 199 bones, and it spans more than 12 metres in length and towers over us at 3.6 metres tall.
Your ticket also includes general entry to Melbourne Museum, where you can meet Horridus, the most complete Triceratops fossil ever found.
Learn how a T. rex may have experienced smell and sight through multisensory installations that offer a glimpse into Victoria’s world.
