Immerse yourself in an engaging teacher workshop led by Michelle Chen, acclaimed game developer, designer, and programmer and Caitlin Kozman, contemporary artist, photographer and facilitator. Inspired by the 2024 Design Week theme, "Design the world you want." Michelle and Caitlin will unveil gaming's educational potential, guiding educators to create environments with natural objects and rare book prints from the collection at Melbourne Museum. Using the real-time development platform UNITY, Michelle and Caitlin equip teachers with tools for innovative game-based teaching. Don't miss this thrilling opportunity to level up your teaching game and unlock new dimensions of educational creativity!

Other key information
Teachers will need to supply their own charged laptop. They will be asked to download a free app on the day. This can be done before the class or during. They can then continue their learning on their own laptop.
