How you got from one place to another in your daily life and how things were transported is something that affects everyone. Transport and travel is also something that changed dramatically over the first half of the 20th century. Thus people’s experiences of distance and time also changed. Both rural and urban life was influenced by these changes.
‘Transport and travel’ covers the most common forms of travel: walking, horseback, horse-drawn vehicles, bicycles, trams, trains, cars, motorbikes, ferries, ships and aeroplanes, through these decades.
This kit is specifically designed for activity coordinators to use in reminiscing sessions. It is suitable for aged care groups only.

Delivery
Kits will be delivered by post. We pay for posting the kit to you, you pay for return postage. Other arrangements may be possible upon booking.
