Hands on Experiences for Early Years Educators

Thanks to a partnership with the Department of Education, Museums Victoria is offering FREE 2-hour STEM professional learning sessions at Museums Victoria for Victorian early childhood educators who work with 3 to 6 year old children in a funded kindergarten program (i.e. have the purple tick). STEM is a powerful way for children to build learning dispositions such as persistence, resilience, problem solving, creativity, collaboration and communication. Aligned with the VEYLDF, STEM Curious includes the latest information about how to incorporate STEM within early childhood environments, providing practical ideas you can easily implement within your service.

There are both face-to-face and virtual sessions available; please click on your preferred date to register, or email us directly ([email protected]) to book larger groups.

Virtual sessions are open to all early childhood educators and teachers who are working in Victoria, and fulfil the above criteria (working with 3-6 year old children, and receive Victorian government funding for a kindergarten program). 

Face-face sessions

Face-face sessions are available for educators working at services located in the following Local Government Areas (LGAs):

Brimbank City Council

City of Greater Dandenong

Central Goldfields Shire Council
