AI the Next Generation
Can the rapid innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI) change our world for the better?
On International Day of Women and Girls in ICT, meet the innovators driving the potential of AI to positively transform our world.
AI is everywhere, and its impacts show no signs of slowing down. From generative platforms like Open.ai’s Chat GPT, to self-driving cars and intelligent robots to improve health care, AI is redefining an era of technological innovation, transforming how we live, work and experience the world.
There is no doubt that we are at the cusp of colossal change, with AI technology showing endless possibilities to help us solve our toughest challenges – including infectious disease outbreaks, hunger and climate change.
As AI becomes more prevalent, it brings new opportunities. With only 26% of data and AI professionals being women, increasing diversity in this field can lead to new innovations and achievements, help overcome bias in algorithms and ensure that the next generation of AI benefits all people, society and the planet.
Celebrating the launch of Museums Victoria's new video series, Science is a Superpower, where Holly Ransom leads a thought-provoking conversation with leading experts in AI on the rise and future of this pivotal field, its potential to positively transform our world and the importance of increasing representation and support for women and girls in STEM and ICT.
At the conclusion of the panel discussion you have the options to attended a Planetarium show (see below). Book with your ticket.
