This learning kit provides a hands-on experience for students to explore the history of common toys & games.
This kit includes toys that explore childhood life in Melbourne over the last 200 years. The toys and play objects reflect the changing experiences of children and their families, and also help to reveal the ways in which children have played over this period.
A teacher’s manual provides guides to possible activities, enquiry questions for students to explore, and additional information on included objects.
The kit can be used in the context of a visit to the Melbourne Story Gallery at Melbourne Museum.
Please read our booking conditions and cancellation policy before proceeding.
