Looking to discover the power of robots? Join Museums Victoria for a fun, hands-on, 75 minute workshop where you can explore how simple programs can control complex machines.
In this introductory workshop, discover how robots move, sense and respond their environment using mBot robots and iPads.
Working in pairs with a parent/carer, children will write instructions for their robot using block-based programming language, and use STEM skills such as problem solving, creativity and innovation to overcome a series of challenges. Can you program a self-driving car? Or dancing party robot? Or a sneaky snooping robot?
This workshop is the perfect way to step into the exciting world of robotics and coding, and explore future STEM careers.
