Covering a wide range of topics, including food rationing, food delivery, cooking methods and home entertaining, this kit offers a snapshot into family life of the 1940s and 1950s.

'Recipes for remembering' contains familiar kitchen items essential to any mid-twentieth century home, along with sample recipes and a folder of laminated photographs. Participants' memories will be triggered by handling and discussing the objects.

This kit is specifically designed for activity coordinators to use in reminiscing sessions. It is suitable for aged care groups only.

Booking details for 2026 expressions of interest

  • Cost: $65 (GST inclusive) to hire for two weeks.
  • Delivery: Kits will be delivered by post. We pay for posting the kit to you, you pay for return postage. Other arrangements may be possible upon booking.
